The greatest adaptation to CrossFit takes place between the ears

What we do at Shoreline CrossFit is certainly very physical. Between the countless reps of burpees, the shortness of breath, and delayed muscle soreness, there's little doubt suffering is a part of CrossFit methodology.

And although we can't quite say there's a direct correlation between CrossFitters and the best moms, first responders, mechanics, and salespeople in the industry, we're willing to bet that if you can train your mind to treat most difficult circumstances like a grueling workout, life will certainly become a little more manageable.  

There's a saying in CrossFit, “The greatest adaptation to CrossFit takes place between the ears.”  

There are going to be many days ahead of you when you don't want to grind, can't perform a movement or two, or like the workout of the day, but that's exactly the growth that we're discussing. If you can find a way to show up and give it your day's best effort, you're that much better for it. Over time, the workouts won't get much easier, but you'll find new ways to challenge yourselves and continue on the path of improvement.  

That's the magic of our methodology, you get stronger both physically and mentally. Now, that's adaptation and a skill you can apply anywhere.
