Memorial Day Murph

Congratulations to everyone who performed Memorial Day Murph and/or committed to the 8-weeks of prep leading up.

This may have been our biggest turnout yet over the last 14 years. Unfortunately, we missed May 2020.

As coaches, it gives us goosebumps to see our community come together and work towards a common goal: to memorialize our service men and woman.

This year was extra special because of the countless olive green Strong shirts worn by our members and what they symbolized.

The green represented the six branches of the Military. The blue ribbon was to support Dave Strong in his battle against colon cancer. Our Shoreline "S" was to represent our amazing community - past and present. And last but not least, the definition of the word Strong.

If you missed it, we strongly encourage participating next year, whether it's a scaled version or to help us pass out water on the runs (sorry, Mary Grace!). We'd love to have you there.

So on behalf of the entire team, thank you. It was a special day! Now let's continue to rally around Dave Strong.

Here's a quick video from CrossFit explaining the History of Murph in CrossFit.
