Embrace the Inconsistency…

Even as a hormonal teenager, I was pretty consistent.  I swear.  I was always the same daughter.  Always the same student.  Always the same waitress.  Always the same friend.  Straight up consistent.

Then came CrossFit

What a wake-up call…the consistency that I once knew, was no longer.  I would venture to say that all pre-CrossFit athletes were fully aware of this…

But you see, for me, I had no idea.  When you perform athletically, you physically CANNOT perform in the same manner each day.

This was a HUGE wake-up call for me…and still is from time to time…

One day, I feel like I could give Annie Thorisdottier a run for her money.  Two days later, it’s as if it’s my first day at CrossFit.  It’s insane.  Like nothing I’ve ever known.

The good news is, most athletes that I’ve mentioned this to seem to concur.  So, hold tight.  As bad as it may be when the shift goes from good to bad, the statistics show it will once again go from bad to good.

Embrace the inconsistency.  It’s all part of the game...

This is the determination that I LOVE to see!! Great work, Bruno!

Connor and BHS classmate, Kevin (not pictured), have both improved their swim times since beginning CrossFit a month ago. Great work, gentleman!
