My private measure of success is daily. If this were to be the last day of my life would I be content with it? To live in a harmonious balance of commitments and pleasures is what I strive for.

I was emailed this quote today by www.worldofquotes.com. I usually give my students at the high school a quote a day to interpret. Well, since I am not in school this week, I thought I’d share it with you. Just something to think about.
Today, I had the pleasure of being at the Shoreline for the entire day. It reminded me of the early days when we just opened in the Summer…except something was different today…
Back in July, we had CrossFitters, now we have firebreathers! I was amazed to watch Deb do the WOD with real pull-ups, and to watch Jenn lift prescribed weight and do real pull-ups. Jamie was doing thrusters with a weight that was impossible a few months ago, and Tricia, Ashley, Adam, Sarah…JUST TO NAME A FEW…flawlessly squat cleaning. Today’s WOD was extremely difficult…designed as a test of athleticism for the top 30 FITTEST people on the planet at the CrossFit games! You all plowed through it, and made us proud.

Junior has been working super hard lately, and doesn't allow the days that he is stuck at the firehouse to stop him from getting a WOD in!

ahhhh...nothing like outdoor lunges in February! Welcome to SCF Elisabeth and the 9 am crew of Lauren, Paige, and Mike!
Great job by everyone yesterday… that was a killer WOD but I think we can each feel good about taking on the challenge and SMACKIN 'ER UP!! It was a lot of "fun"…
