I was googling Russ Greene to try to find out who the ninja was that got a 359 with a weight vest on during today’s WOD.  I came across a great article in the CrossFit Journal that he wrote.  It is sort of, his story in CrossFit.  He discusses how CrossFit makes us mentally stronger, why it is valuable over any other fitness program, and how he stays in the game mentally.  It is worth the read. The PDF article can be read at: http://library.crossfit.com/free/pdf/CFJ_Greene_BestOfCrossFit3.pdf

By the way GREAT energy in both the 8:30 am and 9:30 am classes today (especially Lou’s dance moves!)!  It was a PLEASURE to coach you.

Getting dynamic...

Thanks to all for not putting me on "What Not to Wear" for today's outfit choice!

yeahhhhhh, Jess!!!

Kristy is new to SCF, but she wasn't afraid to be inverted for the first 10 minutes of today's WOD.

Get your pull-up on!

Glad you liked the article. I am no ninja. That workout favored my strengths and targetted Josh's weaknesses. You would have seen a similar asswhooping in the other direction with heavy clean and jerks or power snatches.
