No Excuses Will Succeed!

WOD, 10/25/09:

WOD:

50 Wall Balls (20, 14)

50 Pull ups

35 Wall Balls

35 Pull ups

20 Wall Balls

20 Pull ups

“Work is too hectic”

“The kids are out of control”

“There is just not enough time in the day”

“This week has been CRAZY”

These are all excuses that I have heard as to why my friends and clients claim they cannot make it to the gym.  I am sorry to burst your bubble, but they will not fly.

Where there is a will, there is a way.

I remember when I first met DP.  I liked him a lot, but claimed that I had “no time” to date him.  I was in school full-time and working full-time.  He told me the same thing.  We agreed that we had about 1/2 an hour of time per week to devote to one and other due to our busy schedules.

Needless to say, from that day forward, we spent about 70 hours a week together.  WHY??? Because we wanted to.

When a human really wants something, he/she will make time for it.  There are no if, and, and, buts about it.  If you care about the gym enough, if fitness is really important to you, you will find time to make it to the gym.  It may not be the 4:30 pm class that you’d prefer, but you can get there (5:30 am perhaps).

So, put your excuses on the back burner.  This week is a new week.  Make it your goal to get to SCF at least 3 times!

Agreed LP on the excuses issue but sometimes they are legit and you just can't get there. I REALLY cannot wait until I can be back working out consistently 6 days a week. It is a priority in my life but my son is #1 right now!

I am going to try to get there 3 times next week though!
