“Kelly” is Back, and We’re not Talking About Mrs. Walsh!

WOD, 10/17/09:

“Kelly”

5 rounds for time of:

400 Meter run

30 wall balls (20/14 lbs)

30 box jumps (24 “)

This is a repeat WOD for you SCFers!  It is up there with FRAN, and EVA, as far as difficulty level.  But, don’t let that intimidate you.  Get in here and show “Kelly” who’s boss!  Remember to break parallel in your wallball squats, and open up your hips on the box jumps.

On another note, DP and I are out-of-town today to celebrate another CrossFit union.  Ben Bergeron and Heather Keenan of CrossFit New England in Natick, MA are getting married. This is one DIE HARD CrossFit couple!  Heather placed 17th in the World Games, has a 2.51 FRAN and Ben has a 2.13 FRAN, in addition to several other CF feats….PURE BEASTS!  In my opinion, there is no couple better suited in THE WORLD for one another…sometimes I wonder if they’re related (ewwwww….I know).

 CONGRATULATIONS!

Ben and Heather at the NE Quals.

Our bodies have a very hard time digesting legumes. They tear up the walls of our intestines over time. Also, peanuts do not contain the optimal types of fats.
